- ❝ This flashy two-seater is a wild beast waiting to be tamed.❞
- ―Description in Watch Dogs
The Sunrim is a sports car that appears in Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2. In Watch Dogs, it is manufactured by Centaurus, and in Watch Dogs 2, it is manufactured by Elek Motors, and renamed as Sunrim-EV.
Design[]
The design of this car takes an inspiration to the British styling featured on the Lotus Elise Series 2. The front bumper ducts are influenced by the first generation Ford GT, and the slits on the front-quarter panels resembles to the ones found on the TVR Sagaris. The headlights are closely resemble to those found on the third and fourth generation Dodge Viper. The rear of the car is evidently based on a mixture between a Lotus Elise Series 3, Ferrari F50 and McLaren F1, with the taillights being derived from the Bugatti EB110.
In Watch Dogs 2, it retains the same design as in the first game, except with the name change to Sunrim-EV. As the new name suggest, it is now an all-electric sports car, having being inspired by the first generation Tesla Roadster, a battery electric vehicle which was built on a modified M117 Lotus Elise platform.
Performance[]
The Sunrim has a large turning radius. It is the highest end sports car in the Car On Demand app, and it has similar performance to "performance" cars such as the Amargosa Turbo.
The Sunrim sports a single cam V-shaped engine behind the cab, which, based on the cam covers, would be a V6. Said engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox in a rear-mid engine, rear wheel drive layout. In Watch Dogs 2, it is all-electric and sounds much like the Merengue or Nudle Car.
