  • Hello, We're excited to have Watch Dogs Wiki as part of the Wikia community!

There's still a lot to do; here are some helpful tips and links to get your wiki going:

All of the above links are a great place to start exploring, and have fun!

  • When choosing what articles to import you choose which one had the best content, right? In respect to the main Watch Dogs article, the version on the watch-dogs had a bit more information, information, that took a while to add. Before the merge, I was trying to structure the article better, make it flow smoother. This may be a stretch, but could you possibly get it back? If not, then I completely understand.

  • Hello. Since the wiki just merged, I'd like to know if I can have administration powers to help with what I can do to get the wiki up onto it's feet. Especially since a lot of the administrators haven't yet migrated, I'd like to make some precautionary changes to not cause a delay of maintenance. Thanks.

  • Ok...I've asked this once but there seems to be no response. Not that I wanna shop anyone but I've noticed we've got Jorid's birth date in the articale and also Clara's age appeared. Where did those info come from? I'm just curious since nobody seemed to correct it or anything. Has it appeared anywhere in print?

    • Not that I'm aware of. You can always use a citation tag (or something similar) if you want to keep it in the article - or ask the person who put it in there for the source info.

Well the person was unregistered contributor but I'll try to get it somehow...because I've looked on Ubiblog and Twitter and couldn't find the info

    • Yeah, if there's no source you can find or is offered, feel free to delete it.

    • It's simply a case where an anon adds what ever they want to an article. Right now, we are in the process of cleaning the wiki up after a merger, so things are messy. Any questionable information you come across that isn't cited with a source should be deleted, like Raylan13 said.

Though if you can find an applicable source, please cite it. You'd be doing us a great help. :)

  • Hello Raylan13, since all of our current bureacrats are inactive (not including yourself), I'd like to be bold enough to ask for a promotion to bureaucrat status. Since the removal of the inactive administrators' rights has yet to be done, I'd do so myself. I'm am going to be far more active this week since I've sorted out my real life activities, and the game drops next week Tuesday.

In terms of sole dedication, I've put in a lot of work around here. On the original wiki, and it's clone. I actually believe, and excuse me if this sounds self-important, that I have put in more work into this wiki than anyone else. I may have hit a few bumps on the way, but I only had one motivation: to create a cohesive database for Watch Dogs and it's many fans. That's always been my ambition since day one.

I've tried my best to unite us as a community, and your intervention has been big help, but now the next step is to work on sorting out whatever stumps that remain here in this wiki, and it's community. Please take this into consideration.

    • We are having an open discussion here about your capabilities of your request. If you're not able to handle a simple discussion that you are taking too much hostility into, then there is no reason to close this thread. Plus, Raylan didn't give in his two cents about your original request. Keep this thread open unless there's an actual reason to close it.

    • While I can bump people up to admin status, the preference is that an effort is made to promote discussion on any site where someone wants to be bcrat. That's not my decision, but rather something on the company end of things.

As for demoting inactive admins, it's best to hold off on that until after the game is released.  The wiki is full of the most current info, and barring any sort of minor editing and sprucing up to prepare for launch, there's not much anyone is going to be contributing at this juncture.  It's best to wait until later, that way peoplecan be judged on how they contribute to the released content.

  • Hi dude! Following a chat with NinjaFatGuy, I came to realize we have a bit of a problem on this wikia : Way too much bureaucrats. With 4 crats around (not including you) it makes it impossible to take a decision. Right now, I feel like in a gridlock. I can't even get Randomized to Admin despite the fact that he is motivated and I'm confident he'd be a good addition to the team. Since I'm the oldest dude around I tought about restructuring the team as follows.

Me and NinjaFatGuy as bureaucrats. Reg Guy as admin along with Randomized All the others rollback.

That's why I'm writing to you, as Wikia staff you have more power than I do. To help me with that Bureaucrat problems. We wont go anywhere with 4 crats around. It's insane, ridiculous, and wont get us anywhere. It's like working for a bar that haves 4 managers, 3 floor managers, and only 2 bartenders.

I'm eager to hear your answer.

I'm also on Skype at siriusxaim

  • Hey Raylan13,

I'm just wondering if you remember where you got the image Papavero (Stealth Edition)-WatchDogs from.

I'm trying to see if the Grey Stealth Edition really exists.
