Hardware is the name given to motherboard kits. These motherboard kits are used to provide the function of controlling an explosive device. The crafting item allows IEDs to be remote controlled, becoming active when thrown and then able to ignite the compound upon instruction, leading to near-instant detonation. Hardware kits may also include speakers, and a lure can be crafted from a single unit of the kit.
